Kartik grew up in Southern California in a family of salespeople, and his first job was in sales, where he observed that many businesses struggled with sales due to their primary focus on product development. Recognizing this challenge, he decided to create Daylily, an AI-powered virtual avatar designed to function as a human-like salesperson, providing personalized, real-time engagement to drive sales and gather valuable customer insights for e-commerce businesses. Currently pursuing his studies at Brown University, Kartik's passion for innovation led him to develop a medical device that delivers painless insulin injections for geriatric patients. His entrepreneurial spirit also extended to education, as he taught multiple senior undergraduate entrepreneurial venture classes, where he guided students in drafting business and marketing plans for healthcare startups. Kartik's impact on both the entrepreneurial and educational sectors was recognized by California Senator Josh Newman, who awarded him an entrepreneurship award for his efforts in mentoring and educating future business leaders.
